Da Hong Pao is the famous representative of Wuyi Rock tea and due to its high quality, it is honored with a laudatory title of “The King of Wuyi Rock Tea”. Using a standard Oolong tea processing, the key is the roasting technique it goes through. Da Hong Pao – which is of fine quality – is well-known for its floral fragrance with a scent of rock bones. A properly brewed and traditional Da Hong Pao has a smoky and roasty character, yet beautifully balanced with a deep, yet faint, ripe floral fruitiness in the background. The flavor is refreshing, mineral-rich, with hints of sweet caramel. Da Hong Pao not only delivers a fruity sweetness which lingers in the throat & on the back of one's tongue, but also retains a mellow taste with a pure.
