Once popular in the United Kingdom, it became a chosen drink for the British Queen and the Royal Family, and brought on the “afternoon tea” culture prevailing in Europe. With the steaming heat and smoky pine aroma ooze along the brick wall joints, gushing out flavorfully, a perfect cup of roasted tea is brewed with a sieve on top of it. In order to create its distinctive flavor of smoky pine and sweet aroma of dried longan, Lapsang Souchong must undergo such transformation for the flavor of the tea leaves to be fully activated.
